Terms of Service

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Welcome to RouteHero. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RouteHero mobile application and any associated web services (the "Service"). By using RouteHero, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who Can Use RouteHero

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use RouteHero. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your password. You are responsible for any activity on your account.

2. Your Account and Data

You retain ownership of all data you put into RouteHero — your locations, machines, collections, payouts, inventory, and service tickets are yours. We do not claim ownership of your business data.

You grant RouteHero a limited license to use your data only to provide the Service to you (e.g., store it, display it back to you, run computations on it like priority scores).

You agree not to:

3. Subscription and Billing

RouteHero offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers.

If a payment fails, we'll retry a few times and notify you. After 14 days of failed payment, we may downgrade your account to the free tier.

4. The Service

RouteHero is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Things break, software has bugs, and the internet has outages. We'll do our best to fix issues quickly.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes that affect how you use the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteHero is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that:

You use RouteHero at your own risk. We are not financial advisors, accountants, or tax professionals. Information in the app (including AI insights and reports) is provided for your reference only — verify before making business or tax decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteHero and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period (or $50, whichever is greater).

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

7. Termination

You can stop using RouteHero anytime by deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

You can export your data via CSV before deleting your account (see in-app settings).

8. Intellectual Property

The RouteHero name, logo, brand colors, and overall design are our property. You may not use them without our written permission.

If you suggest features or improvements, we may use those suggestions without owing you anything.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the operator's home state.

You and RouteHero agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally. Most issues can be resolved via email at support@routehero.app.
